Reedley Lions Club Hosts 19th Annual Kings River Blossom Bike Ride.

Fragrant pink and white fruit tree blossoms will lend a spectacular backdrop to the 19th Annual Kings River Blossom Bike Ride, set for Saturday March 1, 2008. Just as the Kings River meanders through the heart of this agricultural region, the Blossom Trail Bike Ride offers four different rides with four different levels of challenge.

For the beginner and families with children, start with the 10 mile ride. The 25 mile ride offers more scenic landscapes. Cyclists looking for more of a challenge can register for the 45 mile of 100 k ride.

All four rides start and finish at Reedley's Cricket Hollow Park on the Kings River at Olsen Ave Bridge. (Driving Directions by Map Quest) Lunch is included with the registration fee, as well as SAG assistance and fully catered rest stops where cyclists can enjoy cookies, fruit, juices and other treats. T-Shirts are also available and can be purchased at the event or by registration form.
